I love the juxtaposition of American blues, French balladeering, and big band swing. She aptly advises to “enjoy with a cocktail and dusty shoes.”

On the other hand, when I think about the bizarre number of songs from that era about car accidents, and their outrageously excessive use of reverb, I wonder how somebody could NOT be drawn to a haunted prom!
