There were only a few bands whose lyric sheets I OBSESSED over in high school: Sleater-Kinney, Heavens To Betsy, Team Dresch, and The Third Sex.
You could spend years writing, talking, and thinking about what makes it so hard for kids to come out to their parents, but this song sums it up pretty clearly in this mother-daughter exchange:

p.s. I just started a Facebook page for this band because they are in danger of being forgotten by the Internet and that would be a shame.
